The Golden Birthplace where the faeries dance. The greatest of orchards with elation so haunting Such hallowed ground where chaos is born. A beautiful goddess with malicious intent. She governs the truth, handles the calamity. She grows the apples and gives her drug to the world. "Take it." she breathes. "Twist it." she whispers. "Wrench it!" she screams. Take the apple in your palm. Twist it by the stem. Wrench it from the tree. All the beauty it once held being connected to every living thing. Once plucked from the orchard it becomes dull, dead, disasterous. Once bitten into, it becomes foul, fetid, fatal.

Glimmering eyes, The promise of her smile. The soft voice of love like the sweetest summer breeze. But the distance between us stretches across the unfathomable. Put the nails in the coffin. This love is just fool's gold.

You could have gone and it would have been fun. There would have been ice cream Just for you. I would have licked your cone when you weren't looking Cause your favourite flavour is my favourite flavour. We would have taken the underground cause you love it downtown. Especially at night when all the lights flash and all the people are performers. We could have hung out with hobos and given them all our spare change and made balloon animals for them with your last pack of balloons. Instead, we both sat at home alone missing each other but both too stubborn to apologise and since that day we haven't been friends.

Traveling through the night. Snow on the ground consuming my feet with every step I take. The full moon casting powerful shadows. I feel as if my own shadow could plummet, crash deep down into the light of my soul and I would become the epitome of night. I feel like a mage with unawakened powers, like a ravenous lioness staring down her next meal. And I know if I stand in the winter moonlight, I will have what I need. It will end violently, explosively, marvelously.
